I received my certification in corporate sustainability from NYU Stern in the summer of 2022. The program provided lessons in ESG (environment, social, and governance) investing, sustainable supply chain management, shareholder vs. stakeholder interests, and sustainability strategies. As society faces existential threats and climate change, we must make demands for greater transparency, fair governance to address poverty and inequity, and ecocentric action. Therefore, this course culminated in a final case study of a publicly traded company to identify key ESG issues and offer long-term sustainability strategies for the business to integrate to strive towards more circular business practices. This is my case study on Kate Spade New York.
